Did you know that our brain is hardwired to highlight the negatives as part of our primitive survival strategy? You can rewire your brain by acknowledging on the what's been good in your day. So why not try this simple happiness boosting exercise? Write down 3-5 good things that have happened in your day before you go to bed. It doesn't matter if they are big or small. Anything positive counts! Dont just think them, write them. This is a vital step in the process! When you've written them down, reflect on why they have made you happy. Writing down what's been good in the day helps you shift your attention to the positive.
